andy and bill nelson

Andy meeting one of his musical mentors, Bill Nelson. This was May of 1996 and Bill was promoting his album "After the Satellite Sings" at the Sam Goody store in Manhatan. Bill is an amazing musician from Yorkshire, England who fronted a group called Be-Bop Deluxe in the 70s and since then has made more than 70 solo albums on which he mostly plays all of the instruments and does all of the production. On the table is a copy of "Gone Fishing With Andy" which Andy presented to Bill who remarked: "thank you very much". Andy was honored to be included on a tribute album to Bill Nelson which was released in December 1998 and presented to Bill in honor of his 50th Birthday.
